Fried Cauliflower
Cucumber Tzatziki
Method
Fried Cauliflower
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, paprika, nutritional yeast, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water until you have a smooth batter.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- 4
Fry the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then carefully place it in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the cauliflower from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
Cucumber Tzatziki
- 6
Prepare the Cucumber
Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture using a clean towel.
- 7
- 8
Chill
Refrigerate the tzatziki for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
