Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Broth

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes and Wine

Add the diced tomatoes and white wine to the saucepan. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Incorporate Broth and Seasonings

Pour in the vegetable broth, add salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

  4. 4

    Cook the Lemon Sole

Gently place the lemon sole fillets into the broth. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Add Fresh Basil

Once the fish is cooked, stir in the chopped fresh basil leaves. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Carefully plate the lemon sole fillets and ladle the broth over the top. Garnish with additional fresh basil if desired.
