In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pappardelle according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the tomato sauce and vodka to the skillet, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the heavy cream and frozen peas. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the peas are heated through.
