Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil, then season generously with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle fresh rosemary on top.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450-500°F or 232-260°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Once the grill is hot, place the steaks on it. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries into a bowl of cold water and let them soak for about 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch and results in crispier fries.

  3. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with a paper towel. Fry them in batches for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 9

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle them with salt and paprika for flavor.
