Wash and Prepare the Chinese Broccoli
Rinse the Chinese broccoli under cold water to remove any dirt. Trim off the ends of the stems and cut the broccoli into 2-inch pieces.

Prepare the Garlic and Ginger
Peel and mince the garlic and ginger, setting them aside for use in the stir-fry.

Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.

Stir-fry the Chinese Broccoli
In a large pan or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the Chinese Broccoli
Add the prepared Chinese broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes bright green and tender-crisp.

Add the Sauce
Pour the sauce over the stir-fried Chinese broccoli and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.

Garnish and Serve
Remove the pan from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds and chili flakes over the dish. Serve warm as a side dish.
