Blue Cheese Dressing
Method
Chicken Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, mix the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil until evenly coated.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Spread the chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce and unsalted butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined.
- 5
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Blue Cheese Dressing Preparation
- 6
Mix the Dressing Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Use a fork to mash the blue cheese slightly and mix until well combined.
- 7
Chill the Dressing
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving
- 8
Serve the Wings
Serve the buffalo wings hot with the blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
