Lobster Tail Preparation

For Grilling (Optional)

Method

Lobster Tail Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen shears, carefully cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise down the middle, stopping just before the tail end. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the exposed lobster meat.

  3. 3

    Marinate

Let the lobster tails marinate for about 15-20 minutes while you prepare your grill or frying pan.

Grilling Directions

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 350-400°F (175-200°C).

  2. 5

    Grill the Lobster

Place the lobster tails shell-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, then flip over and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Serve

Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Frying Directions

  1. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking.

  2. 8

    Fry the Lobster

Place the lobster tails meat-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 9

    Serve

Remove from the skillet, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
