Method
Stuffed Shrimp
Prepare the Stuffing
In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped green onion, breadcrumbs, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Stuff the Shrimp
Carefully butterfly the shrimp by cutting them along the back without cutting all the way through. Fill each shrimp with the prepared stuffing mixture.
Bake the Shrimp
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the stuffed shrimp on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through and the stuffing is heated.
French Fries
Prepare the Potatoes
Rinse the cut fries in cold water to remove excess starch, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
Fry the Potatoes
In a deep pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the fries in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while hot.
Coleslaw
Prepare the Vegetables
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
Make the Dressing
In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine and Chill
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, tossing to coat. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Bread
Serve the Bread
Slice the French bread or rolls and serve alongside the stuffed shrimp, fries, and coleslaw.
