French Fries

Coleslaw or Salad

Method

Seafood Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Seafood

Rinse the shrimp, calamari, and fish fillet under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Breading the Seafood

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each piece of seafood first in flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.

Frying

  1. 3

    Fry the Seafood

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded seafood and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Rinse in cold water and pat dry.

  2. 5

    Fry the Fries

Heat oil in a separate deep frying pan. Once hot, add the fries in batches, frying until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, seasoning with salt immediately.

Coleslaw Preparation

  1. 6

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot, tossing to combine.

Serving

  1. 7

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French bread or baguette into individual servings.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Seafood Combo Plate

On a large plate, arrange the fried seafood, french fries, coleslaw (or salad), and slices of bread. Serve hot.
