Burger Assembly

Method

Beef Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or frying pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook Patties

Place the patties on the grill or pan and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. For medium, the internal temperature should be around 160°F (71°C).

Burger Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare Tomato

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato into thin rounds.

  2. 6

    Assemble Burger

Once the patties are cooked, place each patty on the bottom half of a burger bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a generous drizzle of special sauce. Place the top half of the bun over the sauce.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
