Directions

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Begin by brewing a fresh cup of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker. Aim for a strong and rich flavor, as this will be the base of your Mezcal Carajillo.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glass

Take a glass and fill it with ice cubes. This will chill the drink and keep it refreshing.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the brewed espresso over the ice in the glass. Then, add 1 ounce of Licor 43, followed by 1 ounce of mezcal. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.

  4. 4

    Add Flavor (Optional)

If you enjoy a hint of spice, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon on top of the drink for added flavor. Stir gently to incorporate.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Finally, garnish your Mezcal Carajillo with a piece of orange peel. You can twist it over the drink to release its oils before placing it in the glass.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Mezcal Carajillo!
