Prepare the Glass
Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of lime juice, 0.5 oz of cassis liqueur, 0.5 oz of curaçao, and 0.5 oz of aperol.

Add Ice
Fill the shaker with 1 cup of ice cubes to chill the mixture.

Shake Well
Securely close the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice water from the chilled martini glass and strain the mixture into the glass.

Garnish
Garnish the drink with a lime wheel placed on the rim of the glass.
