Warm the Tortillas
In a separate skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Keep them warm in a tortilla warmer or wrapped in a clean cloth.

Assemble the Tacos
Lay two tortillas on a plate. Add a portion of shrimp, followed by a generous amount of pico de gallo, cabbage, sliced jalapeños, diced avocado, and a sprinkle of cotija cheese. Drizzle with smoked red pepper sauce.

Add the Refried Beans
Add the canned refried beans to the saucepan and stir well to combine with the garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.

Add cumin and salt to the beans, stirring to incorporate. Adjust seasoning to taste, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
