Method

Preparing the Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

2

Steep the Tea

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want the flavor.

3

Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.

Sweetening the Tea

4

Add Sweetener

If desired, add your choice of granulated sugar, honey, or agave syrup to the warm tea. Stir well until completely dissolved.

Cooling the Tea

5

Chill the Tea

Allow the tea to cool at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until fully chilled.

Serving the Iced Tea

6

Prepare Glasses

In serving glasses, add about 1/2 cup of ice cubes to each glass.

7

Pour the Tea

Once the tea is chilled, pour it over the ice in the glasses.

8

Garnish

If desired, garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves, a slice of lemon, or peach slices.

9

Serve

Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing iced tea!
