Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk together until well combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix; a few lumps are fine.

Heat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a bit of butter or oil if desired.

Cook Pancakes
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup and fresh berries on top.
