Edamame Preparation

Cook the Edamame
In a pot of boiling salted water, add the edamame pods and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

Season the Edamame
In a mixing bowl, combine the drained edamame, minced garlic, olive oil, shichimi togarashi, and salt. Toss well to coat all the pods evenly.
Shishito Peppers Preparation

Blister the Shishito Peppers
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shishito peppers and cook for about 5-6 minutes, tossing occasionally, until they are blistered and slightly charred.

Add Sauce to Peppers
Once the peppers are blistered, reduce the heat to medium and add the soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir to coat the peppers evenly.

Finish with Sesame Seeds
Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the peppers and toss to combine. Remove from heat.
