Method

Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.

Cooking the Patty

  1. 3

    Grill or Pan-Fry

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the internal temperature reaches 160°F.

Preparing the Bun

  1. 5

    Toast Buns

While the patties are cooking, spread butter on the cut side of the brioche buns. Toast them on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

Fry Preparation

  1. 6

    Cut Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even strips to ensure uniform cooking.

  2. 7

    Heat Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat oil to 350°F.

Cooking Fries

  1. 8

    Fry Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.

  2. 9

    Drain and Season

Remove fries from oil and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

Assembling the Cheeseburger

  1. 10

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the cheeseburger patty, a slice of tomato, pickles, and your choice of ketchup and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
