Preparing the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Making the Tomato Topping

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Top the Toasted Bread
Once the baguette slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously on top of each slice.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
