Sandwich Components

Method

Cooking the Sandwich

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the turkey or pork bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Flip halfway through for even cooking. Once done, remove from skillet and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and fry them to your desired doneness. For sunny-side up, cook for about 2-3 minutes. For over-easy, gently flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

Once the eggs are nearly cooked, place a slice of American cheese on top of each egg and cover the skillet for 1 minute to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Brioche Buns

In another skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Place the brioche buns cut-side down and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a slice of bacon, followed by the cheesy fried egg. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serving the Fruit

  1. 6

    Prepare the Seasonal Fruit

While the sandwiches are cooking, wash and chop the mixed seasonal fruit into bite-sized pieces if necessary. Serve alongside the breakfast sandwiches.
