Method

Pork Balls Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine 500g ground pork, 100g breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, 2 tsp minced garlic, 50g finely chopped onion, 2 tbs soy sauce, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Balls

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and set them aside on a plate.

  3. 3

    Cook Pork Balls

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a little oil and cook the pork balls for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Chicken Nuggets Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with 100g flour, one with 1 beaten egg, and one with 150g breadcrumbs mixed with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp paprika.

  2. 5

    Bread Chicken

Coat each piece of 500g diced chicken breast in the flour, dip into the beaten egg, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the breaded chicken on a plate.

  3. 6

    Cook Nuggets

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches for about 5-7 minutes, turning until golden brown and cooked through.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble Skewers

On each skewer, alternate between a pork ball and a chicken nugget. Repeat until all ingredients are used.

  2. 8

    Serve with Prawn Crackers

Serve the skewers alongside 150g of prawn crackers for a crunchy side.
