Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bún Noodles
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the Bún rice noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually about 4-6 minutes) until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breast with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breast for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and slice thinly.
- 3
Prepare the Vegetables
While the chicken is cooking, wash and slice the cucumber into thin strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes, and thinly slice the radishes.
- 4
Make the Sweet Dipping Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili flakes, and minced garlic until well combined.
Assembly
- 5
Assemble the Plate
On a large serving plate, arrange the cooked Bún noodles, sliced chicken breast, cucumber strips, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced radishes. Add a handful of prawn crackers on the side.
- 6
Serve with Dipping Sauce
Drizzle or serve the sweet dipping sauce in a small bowl alongside the assembled plate for dipping.
