Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Shake off excess water and dry using a salad spinner or patting with paper towels.
- 2
Chop the Lettuce
Once the lettuce is dry, chop it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 3
Add Caesar Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce. Use a pair of salad tongs or two large spoons to gently toss the lettuce and coat it evenly with the dressing.
- 4
Add Croutons
Sprinkle the croutons over the dressed lettuce. Toss again gently to distribute the croutons throughout the salad.
- 5
Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate the Parmesan cheese over the salad, or add pre-grated cheese. Toss lightly to combine.
- 6
Season with Black Pepper
Add freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Toss the salad one last time to mix in the pepper.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately in individual bowls, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
