Salmon Patty

Toppings

Remoulade Sauce

Method

Prepare the Salmon Patty

  1. 1

    Finely Chop the Salmon

Remove the skin from the salmon fillet and finely chop the flesh. You can also pulse it in a food processor until it's minced but not pureed.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, bread crumbs, egg, green onions, dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

  3. 3

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, about 1 inch thick.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the salmon patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Prepare the Remoulade Sauce

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped capers, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper until well blended.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Toast the Buns

Lightly toast the burger buns on a skillet until golden.

  2. 7

    Layer the Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the salmon patty, sliced tomato, pickles, and fried jalapeños to taste.

  3. 8

    Add Remoulade

Spread a generous amount of remoulade sauce on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the assembled burger.
