Method

Pork Ribs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly on both sides.

  2. 2

    Beer Braise

Place the seasoned ribs in a roasting pan. Pour the beer over the ribs and cover the pan tightly with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours or until the ribs are tender.

Pomegranate BBQ Sauce

  1. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine pomegranate juice, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

  2. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven and discard the foil. Brush the pomegranate BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Return them to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C), basting with more sauce halfway through.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the Fries

While the ribs are finishing, wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 6

    Bake the Fries

Spread the seasoned potato strips on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, turning once until golden and crispy.

Coleslaw

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

Shred the cabbage and carrots using a knife or a grater. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 8

    Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  3. 9

    Combine and Serve

Pour the dressing over the shredded vegetables and toss until evenly coated. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
