Prepare the coffee mixture
In a shallow dish, combine the espresso coffee and coffee liqueur. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

Whip the cream
In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.

Mix mascarpone
In another bowl, gently mix the mascarpone cheese with vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine mixtures
Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.

Dip the ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer the tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers, then spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill and serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
