Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wild Rice

Rinse the wild rice under cold water. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of wild rice with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  4. 4

    Add Finishing Touches

Drizzle lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Stir well to combine.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the sautéed shrimp over a bed of wild rice. Enjoy!
