Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Edamame

Rinse the edamame pods under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.

  2. 2

    Steam the Edamame

In a pot, bring 0.5 cups of water to a boil. Place the edamame pods in a steamer basket and position it over the boiling water. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes until the pods are bright green and tender.

  3. 3

    Season the Edamame

Carefully remove the steamer basket from the pot. Transfer the steamed edamame to a serving bowl and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat evenly.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the edamame whole pods warm, and enjoy them by squeezing the beans out of the pods with your teeth.
