Brisket Candy Ingredients

Method

Brisket Candy Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Trim excess fat from the brisket and rub it with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the fridge.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Brisket

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the seasoned brisket in the smoker and smoke for about 6-8 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).

  3. 3

    Prepare BBQ Sauce Mixture

In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar until well combined.

  4. 4

    Toss the Brisket

Once the brisket is done smoking, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then, chop the brisket into bite-sized pieces and toss them in the BBQ sauce mixture until evenly coated.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the brisket candy warm as an appetizer or main dish. Enjoy!
