Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Pimento Cheese

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, diced pimentos, mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well blended and creamy.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

Form and Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the black Angus ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape into patties.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted burger bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked burger patty. Top the patty with a generous scoop of pimento cheese and two slices of crispy bacon. Add tomato slices and cover with the top half of the bun.
