Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Honey Simple Syrup

In a small saucepan, combine equal parts honey and water. Heat over low heat until the honey is fully dissolved. Allow it to cool before using.

  2. 2

    Juice the Lemons

Take fresh lemons and cut them in half. Using a citrus juicer, squeeze the juice from the lemons until you have 1 oz of fresh lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp if desired.

  3. 3

    Mix the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Chris Stapleton’s The Traveler bourbon, 1 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of honey simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.

  4. 4

    Shake and Strain

Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish the drink with a Luxardo cherry placed on top or skewered on a cocktail pick. Serve immediately and enjoy!
