Crab Fondue
Baguette
Method
Prepare the Fondue
- 1
Mix the Cheeses
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until the cheeses are fully blended.
- 2
Add the Crab and Seasonings
Gently fold in the fresh blue crab meat, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper into the cheese mixture. Make sure to combine everything thoroughly but carefully to avoid breaking up the crab meat.
- 3
Heat the Mixture
Transfer the crab and cheese mixture into a fondue pot or a small saucepan. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture is melted and bubbly, approximately 10-15 minutes.
- 4
Garnish
Once the fondue is melted and smooth, stir in the chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and color.
Prepare the Baguette
- 5
Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1-inch thick slices on a diagonal.
- 6
Toast the Baguette
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
