Method

Prepare the Blackened Shrimp

  1. 1

    Season the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the blackening seasoning until evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little oil, then add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through and blackened. Remove from heat.

Make the Pico de Gallo

  1. 3

    Chop Ingredients

Dice the tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño. Finely chop the cilantro.

  2. 4

    Mix Pico de Gallo

In a bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Prepare the Cilantro-Lime Sour Cream

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix the sour cream, chopped cilantro, and lime juice until well combined.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 6

    Warm the Tortillas

Lightly warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft.

  2. 7

    Fill the Tacos

Place a portion of blackened shrimp onto each tortilla. Top with pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, and a dollop of cilantro-lime sour cream.

  3. 8

    Serve

Fold the tortillas and serve the tacos immediately with extra lime wedges on the side if desired.
