For the BBQ Glaze

For the Salmon

For the Roasted Garlic Spinach Sauté

Method

Prepare the BBQ Glaze

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Glaze

Heat the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Prepare the Salmon

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 5-6 minutes, then brush with the BBQ glaze. Flip the fillets and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes, brushing with more glaze until cooked through and flakey.

Prepare the Roasted Garlic Spinach Sauté

  1. 6

    Heat Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 7

    Sauté Garlic

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 8

    Add Spinach

Add the fresh spinach to the skillet in batches, stirring until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
