Method
Prepare the Sauce

Heat the Olive Oil
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Allow it to heat for about 1 minute.

Add Cherry Peppers
Stir in the sliced cherry peppers and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine Tomatoes and Seasonings
Pour in the crushed tomatoes, and add red pepper flakes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the sauce to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Pasta and Shrimp

Cook the Spaghetti
While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

Add Shrimp
In the last 3 minutes of cooking the spaghetti, add the wild caught shrimp to the boiling water with the pasta.

Drain and Combine
Once the pasta and shrimp are cooked, drain them and add them directly to the skillet with the arrabiata sauce.

Toss and Serve
Gently toss the pasta and shrimp in the sauce until well coated. Stir in the chopped fresh basil. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
