Cook the Meat

Brown the Meat
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground veal, pork, and beef. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Make the Sauce

Add Sauce and Seasoning
Pour in the pomodoro sauce, add the dried oregano, and season with salt and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Simmer
Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.

Cook Pappardelle
Add the pappardelle pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the pasta and reserve a small cup of pasta water.
Combine and Serve

Mix Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained pappardelle to the sauce in the skillet. Toss to coat, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

Serve
Plate the pappardelle bolognese, adding a dollop of ricotta on top and garnishing with fresh basil. Enjoy!
