Measure Ingredients
In a mixing glass, measure out 1 oz of gin, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 1 oz of Campari using a jigger.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice, enough to chill the drink thoroughly.

Stir
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain
Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice.

Garnish
Twist a piece of orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass as garnish.
