Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground veal, ground pork, and ground beef. Add breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, eggs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form Meatballs
Using your hands, form the meat mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Add Tomatoes and Herbs
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer.
Cook Meatballs

Carefully add the formed meatballs into the simmering sauce. Ensure they are submerged in the sauce. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low.

Slow Cook
Let the meatballs cook in the sauce for about 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring gently every 30 minutes to prevent sticking.
Serve

Plate the Dish
Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the heat. Serve the meatballs on a plate, topped with a dollop of ricotta cheese and garnished with fresh basil.
