Prepare the Cod
Soak the salted cod in cold water for 24 hours, changing the water several times.

Cook the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Prepare the Garlic
In a small saucepan, combine the garlic cloves with the whole milk and heat gently until the garlic is soft.

Combine Ingredients
Drain the cod and remove any skin and bones. In a mixing bowl, mash the potatoes. Stir in the cod, garlic mixture (including the milk), heavy cream, olive oil, and black pepper until well combined.

Bake the Brandade
Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof dish and smooth the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes until golden on top.

Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven, drizzle with lemon juice, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
