Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a rocks glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the Sazerac Rye Whiskey, Luxardo Amaretto, and Peychaud Bitters.

Add Ice and Stir
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.

Garnish and Serve
Garnish with a lemon twist, expressing the oils over the drink before placing it in the glass. Serve immediately.
