Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced mushrooms, shallots, and garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are browned and the shallots are translucent.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Marsala Sauce

Pour in the Marsala wine and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce for about 5 minutes. Add the beef or vegetable broth and continue to simmer for another 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. 4

    Finish the Sauce

Stir in the butter until melted, followed by the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Add the cooked angel hair pasta to the skillet and toss gently to combine with the sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
