Directions

- 2
Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. This helps to achieve a crispier texture.
- 3
Fry the Potatoes
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large, heavy pot to 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with paper towels. Carefully add the fries to the hot oil in batches, being cautious to avoid splattering.
- 5
Fry the potatoes for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Season with salt to taste.
- 6
Cook the Steak
While the fries are cooking, season the NY strip steak generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 7
- 8
- 9
Prepare the Worcestershire Molasses Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the Worcestershire sauce and molasses until well combined.
- 10
Plate and Serve
Slice the rested steak against the grain and arrange it on a plate alongside a generous serving of fries.
- 11
Drizzle the Worcestershire molasses sauce over the steak and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
