Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, combine 1 cup of teriyaki sauce, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic (2 cloves), and grated ginger (1 tablespoon). Mix well.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the prepared marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- 5
Add Glaze
In the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush additional teriyaki sauce over the chicken to create a glaze.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the top before serving.
