Prepare the Water
In a large pot, add 1 litre of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.

Add Edamame
Once the water is boiling, carefully add 2 cups of edamame pods to the pot.

Steam the Edamame
Cover the pot and let the edamame steam for about 5-7 minutes until they are bright green and tender.

Drain the Edamame
After steaming, carefully drain the edamame pods in a colander and let them cool for a minute.

Season with Salt
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt over the edamame while they are still warm, tossing gently to coat.

Serve
Transfer the edamame to a serving bowl and enjoy warm as a snack or appetizer.
