1. Prepare the Shrimp
In a large pot, combine water, salt, lemon (halved), and bay leaves. Bring to a boil.
2. Cook the Shrimp
Add the U-10 shrimp to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are pink and opaque. Do not overcook.
3. Chill the Shrimp
Remove the shrimp from the pot and immediately place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let them chill for about 10 minutes.
4. Prepare the Cocktail Sauce
In a bowl, combine ketchup, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and salt. Mix well until smooth.
5. Serve
Drain the shrimp and serve chilled with the house-made horseradish cocktail sauce on the side.
