Method

Preparation of Sauce

  1. 1

    Make the Sauce

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  2. 3

    Prepare the Dough

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 4

    Add Sauce and Toppings

Spread the prepared sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top, followed by the crumbled sausage, crispy pepperoni, capicola, roasted mushrooms, and roasted red peppers.

  4. 5

    Bake the Pizza

Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Slice and Serve

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into wedges and serve hot.
