Making the Pecan Pie

Prepare the Pie Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.

Mix the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, beaten eggs, and salt. Mix until well combined.

Pour and Bake
Pour the pecan filling into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool the Pie
Allow the pie to cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before serving.
Making the Vanilla Chantilly

Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks form.

Serve
Serve the Vanilla Chantilly over slices of cooled pecan pie.
