Method

For the Maple Pumpkin Pie

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pie Crust

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Trim and crimp the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork.

  2. 2

    Mix the Filling

In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Mix well until smooth.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Cream

Add the eggs and heavy cream to the pumpkin mixture. Whisk until fully combined.

  4. 4

    Bake the Pie

Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  5. 5

    Cool

Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.

For the Vanilla Chantilly

  1. 6

    Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, add the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip on medium-high speed until soft peaks form.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the Vanilla Chantilly alongside slices of Maple Pumpkin Pie.
