Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Season the Ribs

Rub the pork ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly on both sides.

  2. 2

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

Making the BBQ Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, mustard, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and hot sauce. Mix until smooth.

  2. 4

    Cook the Sauce

Transfer the sauce to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes to thicken slightly.

Preparing the Fries

  1. 5

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Season and Bake the Fries

Toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F) for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through until golden and crispy.

Finalizing the Dish

  1. 7

    Glaze the Ribs

Once the ribs are cooked, brush the BBQ sauce generously over the top of the ribs. Cook on high for an additional 30 minutes in the slow cooker to caramelize the sauce.

  2. 8

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and serve them hot with the fries on the side.
