Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 3

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to help create a light sauce if needed.

  2. 4

    Add Sauce Ingredients

Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and chopped fresh basil. Toss everything together until well combined and the cheese is melted.

Serving

  1. 5

    Serve and Enjoy

Transfer the Pasta Primavera to serving plates. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired. Serve warm.
