Method

Preparing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of organic pan-fired green tea leaves. Let it steep for about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer into a heatproof pitcher. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.

Making the Lemonade

  1. 4

    Juice the Lemons

Squeeze the juice from 2 whole fresh lemons into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

  2. 5

    Mix the Lemonade

In a separate pitcher, combine the lemon juice with 1 cup of granulated sugar and 2 cups of water. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Combining and Serving

  1. 6

    Combine Tea and Lemonade

Once the tea has cooled, mix the cooled tea with the lemonade mixture in a large pitcher. Stir well to combine.

  2. 7

    Serve Over Ice

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the iced tea lemonade mixture over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
